Coverage That's Actually Clear.
No fine-print surprises. Here's exactly what's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim.
Repair Warranty by Part Type
If a repair fails within its coverage window, we'll fix it again at no charge. Redo coverage depends on which part was used in the original repair:
Your technician will confirm which part type is used in your repair before work begins.
What's Covered
- Device is dead-on-arrival (DOA) or fails to power on
- Hardware or manufacturing defects appearing under normal use
- A repaired issue recurring within that repair's coverage window
What's Not Covered
- Physical damage — drops, cracks, bends — occurring after purchase or repair
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Any device opened or repaired by someone other than TechDotCom during the warranty period
- Normal wear and tear (battery degradation over time, cosmetic scuffing)
- Software issues caused by jailbreaking, unauthorized modification, or user error
- Devices with a different IMEI/serial than the one originally sold or repaired
Brand New Devices — Manufacturer Warranty
Brand new devices carry the original manufacturer's 1-year warranty. Since terms and claim procedures vary by brand, message us your device and issue on WhatsApp and we'll point you to the correct manufacturer service path for your specific device.
How to File a Claim
- Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and a description of the issue.
- We'll confirm coverage based on your purchase or repair date and the warranty terms above.
- Bring the device to one of our pickup locations — the same ones used for trade-ins and repairs.
- We repair or replace the item under warranty. Refurbished/pre-owned device claims are resolved by repair or replacement — refunds are not offered under this warranty.
This policy describes TechDotCom TT Ltd's own repair and refurbished-device warranty. Manufacturer warranties on brand new devices are provided and honored by the respective manufacturer, not TechDotCom. Warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase or repair, as shown on your order. TechDotCom reserves the right to determine, at inspection, whether an issue falls within warranty coverage as outlined above.
